Better routes delivered
Package delivery company DHL is deploying Mobitrac’s Dynamic Area Planner to assist with its route optimization. According to Mobitrac, its solution will also streamline sorting processes and balance daily loads more efficiently.
Mobiltrac said the web-based platform provides DHL managers a number of benefits:
- develop optimized routes to meet customer needs
- evaluate each facility’s performance
- optimize yield management
- reduce planning time
The software company’s Transportation Execution Platform is a suite of modular services that can be integrated with a fleet’s existing IT infrastructure. Each module could function alone or in tandem with other functions.
“Mobiltrac’s straightforward data integration and broad set of tool has allowed us to produce rapidly actionable information,” said Fred Beljaars, DHL Americas executive vp-operations.
