Diesel moving back up

The national price for a gallon of diesel jumped three cents to $2.803 for the week ending May 20, according to the Energy Information Administration. This ends four consecutive weeks of diesel price drops.

Diesel prices rose in all regions, except for the Rocky Mountains, where it fell 0.5 cents to $2.993. In spite of this, the Rocky Mountains was still the most expensive region in which to fill up. On the flip side, the Lower Atlantic region, which was the cheapest region for diesel, saw the largest price bump, up 4.7 cents to $2.758.
