Eaton Corp. announced that Curt Hutchins has been named vp and president of its Heavy Duty Transmission Div., effective April 1.

Currently vp and gm of the company’s Clutch Div., Hutchins joined Eaton in 2003. “In the three years that Curt has led the Clutch Division, the business has grown substantially,” said James E. Sweetnam, Eaton sr. vp and president-Truck Group.

Hutchins holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
