FedEx’s Sullivan to retire

Daniel J. Sullivan, president & CEO of Memphis, TN-based FedEx Ground, is planning to retire Jan. 5 next year. His replacement will be FedEx Express executive vp David F. Rebholz.

Sullivan’s retirement comes after 35 years with FedEx Ground and its predecessor, the Roadway Package System (RPS) companies. He’s agreed to provide consulting services to FedEx following his retirement.

Rebholz joined FedEx Express in 1976 and currently serves as executive vp of operations and systems support, responsible for overseeing FedEx Express’s air fleet operations and U.S. ground operations.
