Autocar is launching Autocar Dealer Network (ADNet), a Web-based dealer communications system that provides Autocar dealers with access to the entire product offering.
The system is scheduled to go live April 2.
"The ADNet system is designed to make Autocar dealer salespeople more responsive, more competitive and up-to-the-minute on Autocar products," said Darren Bartel, manager of product structure for Autocar. "Downloaded quotes or orders can be saved and revised on the user's PC and specs can be e-mailed to another ADNet user for review or use as the basis for another quote or order."
Quotes and other transactions are submitted to the factory by an Internet connection. The user can work on revisions to ADNet transactions off-line and they are automatically communicated whenever the user connects to the factory.
