Averitt Express Wins Dedicated Contract

Averitt Express has signed a contract to provide dedicated transportation services for the William Bonnell Co., a manufacturer of aluminum extrusions based in Newnan, GA. Averitt Express has signed a contract to provide dedicated transportation services for the William Bonnell Co., a manufacturer of aluminum extrusions based in Newnan, GA.

Under the terms of the deal, the Cookeville, TN-based carrier will provide a fleet of thirty-nine tractors and thirty-eight drivers to deliver William Bonnell’s products to manufacturers and distributors throughout the Northeast, Midwest, Southeast and Southwest U.S.

Averitt said dedicated fleet will be based at William Bonnell’s three manufacturing facilities located in Newnan, Carthage, TN, and Kentland, IN.

Averitt added that its tractors will pull a variety of specialized trailers, including converter vans, flatbeds and curtain side trailers. Averitt mechanics will provide maintenance services for the fleet’s trailers, which will remain owned by William Bonnell.
