IdleAire Technologies Corp. today announced that Lana Batts of Batts & Associates has joined the company’s board of directors.

Batts, a former president of Truckload Carriers Association, has been serving in an advisory capacity to IdleAire for several months. IdleAire officials said the move to director status is a logical step in providing the company with the highest level of industry expertise as the firm launches its heating and air conditioning services for stationary vehicles.

“Lana has the practical, hands-on transportation industry experience IdleAire needs to understand the current and future needs of our customers,” said IdleAire COO David Everhart. “Lana will enhance our professional and savvy team.”

IdleAire provides advanced truckstop electrification services to commercial truckstops and other large vehicle parking areas nationwide.
