BAX Global forms Austrian logistics firm
International transportation and logistics company BAX Global Inc. has formed a new Austrian logistics company after acquiring the air and ocean logistics operations of Schier Otten & Co.
Schier Otten, a mid-sized logistics company concentrating on trucking and warehousing in Europe, was a former agent for BAX Global. The company will now be called BAX Global GmbH. The company’s managing director will be Albert Klamert, BAX Global’s current managing director for Eastern Europe.
BAX Global is a $2.1-billion transportation and supply chain management company through a global network of over 500 offices in 123 countries.
