Con-Way Southern Express (CSE), a regional LTL subsidiary of Con-Way Transportation Services, plans to open a new service center in Newnan, GA, by September to serve the Atlanta metropolitan area. Ft. Worth, TX-based CSE said the 40-door, 22,000-sq.-ft. facility will include 17,000-sq.-ft. of dock and fueling area, a 5,000-sq.-ft. office, and employ 34 people. Daily freight handling capacity will be three million pounds.
