Cummins said its new International Distributor business unit has become the company's fourth division, joining the Power Generation, Engine, and Filtration businesses.

International Distributor consists of 17 wholly owned and three joint-venture distributors with 111 global locations that provide Cummins products and related services to end users in 50 countries. Steve Chapman will lead the new business unit as general manager, the company said.

Cummins added that sales from what makes up the new division topped $562 million dollars last year.
