DHL Worldwide Express of San Francisco and Unishippers, a reseller of transportation services based in Salt Lake City, have formed a two-year partnership to offer DHL’s premium international air express products to Unishippers’ 200,000 customers.

Under the agreement, small- to medium-sized businesses can receive pricing breaks from DHL typically reserved for large corporations by purchasing DHL’s international air express services through Unishippers.

The two companies aim to improve the efficiency and affordability of international express services for the small- to medium- sized market segment and thereby build market share. "This alliance will enable Unishippers to leverage DHL's unparalleled air express service across the globe," said Jeffrey Corbett, senior vp for DHL. "In turn, DHL will widen exposure for its suite of international services through Unishippers International franchisee network."
