Emery Worldwide’s beat goes on

Emery Worldwide today announced that its freight transportation operations have continued to operate successfully despite Monday’s suspension of Emery Worldwide Airlines’ flight operations.

Using a substitute fleet of contracted airlift from other carriers, Emery Worldwide said it has successfully operated its North American system for the past two nights, moving more freight than it was averaging last week and more than its daily average in July.

“Our employees have not only done their jobs professionally under difficult circumstances, but who have done them exceedingly well,” said Emery Worldwide CEO Chutta Ratnathicam.

Emery Worldwide is a $2.6-billion company that provides global air and ocean freight transportation, logistics management and customs brokerage services to manufacturing, industrial, retail and government customers. It is a subsidiary of CNF Inc.
