The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has named Ted J. Fick vp, commercial systems, a newly created position. Fick, who had been senior vp and COO of Hino Diesel Trucks Inc., will be responsible for leading Goodyear's commercial tire business unit in the North American market.
"Ted has an exceptional background in the commercial transportation business, including experience at Hino Diesel Trucks and Paccar,” John Polhemus, Goodyear's president, North American Tire, said. "I'm pleased that he is bringing his unique perspective and knowledge to the company, in support of our commercial tire business."
At Hino Diesel Trucks, a Toyota subsidiary, Fick was responsible for truck and parts sales, service, marketing and dealer development.
