Freightquote.com, a provider of online freight and logistics services based in Lenexa, KS, has added international trade software developed by Xporta to help Freightquote.com customers manage trans-border transportation.

Xporta's system helps simplify international transport and enables shippers to quickly compare carriers and select the level of service they want for destinations to more than 80 countries.

Xporta, based in Santa Clara, CA, said its system could help international shippers take advantage of aggregated freight rates comparable to those reserved for larger exporters. In addition, they can reduce time spent completing customs documents, reviewing regulations, and gathering bids, the firm said.
