G.I. Trucking wins safety honors

G.I. Trucking Company has received two safety honors from the American Trucking Association (ATA) and the ATA Safety & Loss Prevention Management Council. The Brea, CA-based LTL carrier won first place in the General Commodities LTL/Local Division, 10-50 million-mile category, in ATA's 2001 National Truck Safety contest. By contrast, in 2000, G.I. Trucking took third place in this category. The carrier

The Brea, CA-based LTL carrier won first place in the General Commodities LTL/Local Division, 10-50 million-mile category, in ATA's 2001 National Truck Safety contest. By contrast, in 2000, G.I. Trucking took third place in this category. The carrier also won second place in the General Commodities LTL/Line-Haul Division, 50 to 100 million-mile category, whereas it won fourth place in 2000.
