Goodyear promotes two

Goodyear Rubber & Tire Co. has promoted Dave Beasley to the position of director of sales and Al Cohn to manager of strategic initiatives/communications for its commercial tire division. Beasley joined Akron, OH-based Goodyear in 1984 and has held a number of sales positions, working in retail, wholesale, and government sales. Beasley joined Akron, OH-based Goodyear in 1984 and has held a number of sales positions, working in retail, wholesale, and government sales. Most recently, he was director of marketing for commercial tires.

In his new position, Beasley will be responsible for OE sales plus new, replacement and retread tire sales to national accounts, strategic accounts and dealers.

Cohn has been with Goodyear 25 years, serving in a variety of engineering and marketing positions involving tire design and field engineering.

In his new position, Cohn will coordinate all of Goodyear's commercial tire events, product launches, and trade media relations. He will also be involved in strategic sales and marketing initiatives, the company said.
