Greif selects BestTransport software
Greif Bros. Corp., which makes industrial shipping container products, is implementing BestTransport.com's logistics software at its plant in Lavonia, GA.
Jason Tucker, Greif's director of transportation, said cost savings are why his company went with Columbus, OH-based BestTransport. "It matched our freight transportation needs in the United States and Canada and produced cost savings to our plant," he said. "We saved on paperwork, time and money."
Delaware, OH-based Greif, makes steel, fiber and plastic drums; intermediate bulk containers, corrugated containers, and transit protection products, among other items. It employs 10,000 workers in 40 countries.
