GSC Logistics of Hayward, CA, is offering for sale its C-LINC supply chain management software system to its customers. GSC is a third-party logistics provider that operates a warehousing and distribution facility with comprehensive EDI and Internet capabilities.

The C-LINC system offers a direct link to the GSC information network computer. As a result, GSC's customers can monitor the movement of product within their import and export supply chain by prioritizing each move, the company said.

GSC said customers can use C-LINC to access inventory management and logistics capabilities, including real-time information of container/trailer assets, pre- and post-customs clearance, allocation status, inbound/outbound purchase order visibility, load volumes, and ETA scheduling based on pre-defined methodologies.

"We are pleased to offer C-LINC to our entire customer base, and believe that it plays a pivotal role in helping to enhance our customers' overall supply chain logistics processes," said Andy Garcia, GSC Logistics executive vp. "Customer response to C~LINC has been outstanding, and we look forward to adding more customers to this powerful management system."
