Aether Systems Inc. announced today that tank truck carrier Hahn Transportation Inc. will use the Aether MobileMax2 wireless communications system for its fleet of 172 trucks.
Hahn specializes in hauling petroleum products, asphalt, dry bulk products and milk in the Mid-Atlantic region. Additionally, Hahn operates a flatbed division that moves aluminum, building and construction equipment.
Hahn said it will use MobileMax2 to develop cost-saving techniques such as managing drivers' idle time, reducing out-of-route miles and minimizing fleet maintenance costs.
Aether said Hahn plans to complete installations during the first half of the year.
