Imperial Logistics has developed a client list of over 150 companies such as MHD International, Via Sat Satellite Services, Hagen Industries, Cellular Solutions, Komatsu International, etc. James Moore, founder of Imperial Logistics, will be president of the company after the acquisition is completed.

New Cinema, which will shed its name and adopt the Imperial Logistics moniker, said it hopes to tap into what it estimates is a $602-billion North American freight transportation business. The company cited a recent logistics study by UBS Warburg that indicated that, at present, a leading logistics provider can typically reduce a client’s distribution costs by 20% in the first year by re-engineering their supply chain – with Internet-based logistics systems expected to reduce supply chain costs another 40%.
