International Truck and Engine Corp. has named veteran NASCAR driver Dale Jarrett as its official spokesman. Jarrett will become the face of International’s NASCAR program with personal appearances at dealer events and trade shows, as well as participation in print and radio advertisements.

“We are very excited to have a champion like Dale Jarrett as part of our team as we continue our winning relationship with NASCAR,” said Steve Keate, president, truck group, International Truck and Engine. “This enhances our ability to connect with our customer base in a way no one else in our industry can.”

Jarrett will also appear at each of this year’s four International Truck Challenge events, a race series for NASCAR Winston Cup big-rig drivers. Additionally, International will have opportunities to deliver an enhanced NASCAR experience to select customers and dealers through Jarrett’s Jarrett/Favre Driving Adventure race school.

“It’s great to work with an industry leader like International, especially since trucking plays such an integral role in keeping our sport going," Jarrett said.
