Knight Transportation Close to First-Quarter Expectations

Knight Transportation Inc. said it expects to report first quarter earnings of 2001 to be at, or very near, the low range of consensus earnings expectations of about 26-cents per share. Knight added that the company anticipates slower growth through the second quarter of this year.
