NTE has announced the appointment of George Abernathy as its senior vp of sales, effective immediately.

Abernathy has almost 20 years of industry experience at technology-based providers such as The Sable Group, Logistics.com and Clicklogistics and at traditional companies such as J.B. Hunt. At NTE, Abernathy will lead its charge to expand NTE's customer base and prospect list for its web-based supply chain execution solutions.

"George is the ideal individual to help transportation-dependent companies run their operations better, faster and more economically using NTE solutions," said Jim Davidson, president & CEO of NTE. Abernathy was most recently senior vp of sales & business development for Clicklogistics.
