UPS said has completed its more-than-$1 billion expansion of its global all-points air facility in Louisville, UPS Worldport. The project more than doubles the size of the hub's sorting complex to 4-million sq.-ft. and increases its sorting capacity to 304,000 packages per hour - or more than 84 packages every second. The expansion of UPS's air operations also has allowed the company to broaden its Next Day Early A.M. service by 600 ZIP Codes.
