Truck trailer builder Wabash National Corp. of Lafayette, IN, said it has received a new, two-year, $100-million line of credit.

"We are very pleased to be able to arrange such a facility given the current economic climate and difficult capital markets. We believe this accomplishment reflects the continued strength of Wabash National even as the truck trailer industry deals with a very pronounced business downturn," said Mark R. Holden, vp & CFO for Wabash. "We are also very pleased to partner with National City Bank, which has demonstrated outstanding leadership in a tight capital market."

Holden added that Wabash’s core customer base continues to outperform the transportation industry in a very difficult environment.

Wabash manufacturers a variety of truck trailers, including composite and intermodal products, under the RoadRailer, Fruehauf and Pro-Par brand names.
