Daniel Smith, formerly president & CEO, becomes chairman & CEO. The move will allow Smith to focus on strategic acquisitions, international expansion and strategic partnerships for GFS.

Gregory Sebolt has been promoted to president & COO. He will immediately take responsibility for all day-to-day management of the company, including operations, sales and marketing, current customer retention programs, profitability, vendor relationship management and human resources.

“These changes are pertinent to the strategic direction of GFS as we continue to build out a future growth plan,” he said. “Building an ‘A’ team, with each person working at their highest potential, will help to further our success.”

GFS is a non-asset based third-party logistics services company (3PL) that maintains a 12,000-member network of OTR carriers, Class 1 railroads and a mix of multi-mode transportation solutions serving Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.
