GM Fleet and Commercial Operations announced a new marketing program, Business Central, to position enrolled dealers as a one-stop shop for business owners, with emphasis on serving small businesses.

These programs were formerly known as Chevrolet Commercial Specialty Vehicles and GMC Commercial Trucks. “Many small business owners told us they do not associate themselves with the terms ‘commercial’ or ‘fleet,’” said Jim McCallum, director—dealer operations. “We listened. Business Central allows us the ability to market the dealer programs, with a common name, that resonate well with the customer.”

The program will emphasize knowledgeable and trained outside sales people who could best match the customer’s needs with the product or vehicle configuration.
