Hindsight for Sprinter

A commercial-grade backup camera system has been developed specifically for the redesigned 2007 Dodge Sprinter van by Rostra Precision Control Inc. The new Rearsight system provides Sprinter drivers with a 150 deg. wide-angle rearward view and features automatic infrared sensing for night vision.

The exterior portion of the Sprinter kit includes a heavy-duty, waterproof color video camera and a heavy-duty mounting bracket with a 5-ft. harness. Inside the van, drivers have a 3.5-in LCD monitor that mounts on the headliner with a mounting stem and bracket designed specifically for the new Sprinter. The monitor also features dual video inputs able to accommodate additional navigation, DVD or interior camera systems.

Rostra says it will continue to offer a separate Rearsight camera system for 2006 and older Sprinter models.
