IntelliOne adds to advisory board

IntelliOne Technologies (www.intellione.com), a provider of real-time traffic speed data, has announced that Janet Roberts has joined the company's advisory board. Roberts, who currently serves as vp corporate communications & product marketing at Syniverse, will be joining seven other members of the advisory board, which includes representatives from across the transportation and communications industries as well as former government officials.

According to IntelliOne, the company’s technology converts ordinary mobile phone network data into speed and travel time information on all roadways covered by mobile phone service. The company said its technology is accurate to within 3 mph and reports traffic conditions every 30 seconds.

IntelliOne developed its proprietary patented Roadway Speed Measurement System based on the fact that wireless devices in motion communicate constantly with multiple towers, generating reports used by mobile operators to maintain and optimize their networks.
