FleetMentor, the online fleet management solution of J.J. Keller & Associates, has been enhanced with interactive training courses from Keller's library. Subscribers to the service now have access to courses covering driver/DOT, hazardous materials, construction, workplace safety, and more.

The courses work as a supplement to classroom and field training while offering a convenient and affordable training method, noted J.J. Keller. Subject matter includes CSA 2010, roadside inspections, hours of service, distracted driving, and cargo securement. FleetMentor subscribers can purchase training points at a 20% discount from regular J. J. Keller online training courses.

“The addition of the online training to FleetMentor is exciting for our subscribers; it gives them another resource within the service to help them prepare for CSA 2010,” said Rustin Keller, corporate Internet products manager. “Online training is an affordable option for FleetMentor subscribers to educate their employees and drivers to ensure that they are in compliance with all applicable regulations.”

Keller has also launched an online CSA 2010 management solution. This online service will provide a suite of tools and resources dedicated to CSA 2010 and aimed at helping carriers improve their safety performance.

Under CSA 2010, carrier scores will be comprised based on crash reports provided by the states for DOT recordable crashes, roadside inspection reports provided by the states (and all violations listed on the reports), and violations discovered during interventions conducted by state or federal investigators.

The solution will include tracking tools for accidents and roadside inspections; a self-audit tool that determines a carrier's safety fitness rating and recommends corrective actions; a comprehensive dashboard; and 30 pre-written company policy templates.
