Sensor system from Mobile Awareness

Mobile Awareness, LLC has released the SenseStat wired obstacle detection sensor system, geared towards preventing backing accidents by alerting drivers of obstacles behind the vehicle through both audible and visual indicators, the company said.

According to Mobile Awareness, SenseStat’s waterproof sensors are automatically activated when the reverse gear is engaged, displaying objects within four individual areas behind the vehicle, accurate to within one inch.

SenseStat’s LCD monitor displays all zones simultaneously in real time, indicating the specific area closest to an object, the company said.
