Software firm launched

Interactive Capacity Gateway, LLC has been created out of third-party logistics provider NLM. The company promises design, implementation, and hosting of Web-based software systems for the transportation industry.

"With increasing industry demand for intuitive shipment management software solutions, it is simply the right time for Interactive Capacity Gateway to enter the marketplace," said Scott Taylor, Interactive CEO. "It is our ongoing mission to develop products that streamline the shipping process and provide a competitive advantage to our customers."

The company’s latest software, Capacity Gateway, offers on-demand shipment management through an online network that helps 3PLs, shippers and brokers keep track of ground shipment activity, Interactive said. The service also includes online order entry, online procurement, proactive even management, order visibility and tracking, and reporting tools.
