NLM offers U.S.-Mexico tracking

National Logistics Management (NLM) is offering a new truckload thru-service that provides visibility to customs activities for cross-border shipments between the U.S. and Mexico.

NLM now tracks shipments between the U.S. and Mexico through the border crossing process, including customs inspections that could delay a shipment. Through the service, NLM can identify conflicts in the shipment process, notify the customer and develop solutions that address customer’s needs, the company said.

“The new Mexico thru-service is testimony to our continued commitment in providing the most comprehensive shipment options for our customers,” said NLM president Greg Humes. “Full visibility is not a luxury – it’s a necessity, and we are excited to offer this service to our customers.”

NLM said it successfully completed its initial thru shipment in January.
