NPTC announces speakers for annual conference

The National Private Truck Council (NPTC) has announced author John Boyens, truck consultant Dan Baker and Baseball Hall of Fame catcher Johnny Bench will speak at its Annual Education Management Conference and Exhibition. The event will be held at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza and Duke Energy Center April 27 to 29.

Boyens is the author of several audio CD series including Techniques of World Class Sellers, Accelerated Sales Audio Program and Creating a Productive Selling Zone. Baker is a nationally known speaker and consultant to the trucking industry. Bench, the featured speaker at the Tuesday luncheon, has used his fame to support numerous charities.

“By any measure, Cincinnati promises to be the most exciting annual conference in more than a decade,” said Ralph Benson, president of Sentinel Transportation and chairman of the NPTC Conference Planning Committee. “We have assembled a power-packed agenda of dynamic speakers and an unparalleled lineup of hard-hitting educational workshops.”

The conference will also include 25 workshops presented by private fleet’s most experienced practitioners and a showcase of fleet products and services from leading industry suppliers, the organization said.
