Outgoing NPTC chair honored

Matt Peterson, manager of national account lease sales for Mack Trucks, was recognized by the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) for his dedication and leadership while chairman of the board.

During Peterson’s two-year term, the organization promoted high-visibility seatbelts as part of its commercial driver safety awareness campaign. In addition, NPTC’s financial performance improved, membership increased and a five-year strategic plan was developed.

Harry Haney of Kraft Foods Inc. has been chosen to succeed Peterson.
