Minneapolis-based PeopleNet (www.peoplenetonline.com) has appointed current COO & CFO Ron Konezny CEO. John Sarto, the company's current CEO & chairman, will remain chairman of the Board of Directors for PeopleNet.

Konezny has been with PeopleNet since it was founded in 1994. According to the company, he has been instrumental in helping PeopleNet achieve 18 consecutive quarters of record growth and is also credited with leading the delivery of many industry innovations while serving as CTO earlier in his career with the firm.
