PeopleNet has launched the MPG Guarantee Program, aimed at helping fleets to improve their fuel efficiency by 5% to 10%. The program offers a full money-back guarantee that the miles per gallon benefit will exceed the cost of the program within one year.

“The cost of fuel is the most critical issue fleets face today. The efficient purchase and use of that fuel is an urgent challenge,” said Rick Ochsendorf PeopleNet vp of operations. “For most fleets, it means the difference between profit and loss. For some it’s a matter of survival.”

According to Ochsendorf, PeopleNet will audit customer practices, developing and implementing a plan after analyzing fuel purchasing, maintenance, driver habits, operating efficiency and equipment specs to develop a fleet-specific plan for improving mpg.
