Qualcomm names senior vp
Qualcomm Inc. has named Robert Walton senior vp & division president of Qualcomm Enterprise Services (QES), where he will be responsible for the division’s business operations as well as new market opportunities.
Walton succeeds Joan Waltman, who will move to an executive position in commercializing research and development, the company said.
Walton, who has over 25 years of technology and services experience, joined QES in May 2007 as division vp of product management & marketing. He previously worked at Compaq Computer, Pixar Animation Studios, NeXT Computer and Northern Telecom Electronics.
