Ryder System has promoted Kevin Bott to be senior vp & chief information officer (CIO), responsible for refining Ryder’s business model and increasing its information technology (IT) capabilities

Ryder System has promoted Kevin Bott to be senior vp & chief information officer (CIO), responsible for refining Ryder’s business model and increasing its information technology (IT) capabilities. He reports to Tracy Leinbach, executive vp & CFO.

Previously, Bott served as Ryder’s vp for global supply chain solutions technology services within the company’s IT group. In that role, he provided technology support for business development activities, design, testing and implementation of value-added solutions, and ongoing account support.

Bott replaces former senior vp & CIO Robert Sanchez, who in turn is moving on to be executive vp-operations for Ryder’s Fleet Management Solutions business segment in the U.S.
