Thermo King APU extends maintenance interval
Thermo King’s TriPac APU (auxiliary power unit), which provides cab comfort without idling the main engine, now offers a 1,000-hr. maintenance interval.
The TriPac Auxiliary Heating/Cooling Temperature Management System provides bunk heat, engine pre-heat, air conditioning, accessory power and battery charging.
The extended interval allows maintenance to be performed on the APU at the same time as the maintenance on tractor, Thermo King said. It can be serviced at any of over 200 Thermo King dealers in the U.S.
