“AT&T’s integrated services and network offers our employees the flexibility and confidence to effectively communicate and maintain a seamless shipping process that delivers value to our clients,” said Gary Bateman, vp-technology for the South Bend, IN-based air and truck freight carrier.

Bateman said Towne would streamline and integrate its voice and data services by using AT&T business network (ABN) service, which consolidates voice and data communications into a single contract with a single bill, including discounts across all services.

By using AT&T’s multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) platform, the carrier gets high-speed connectivity among its locations across the network. In addition, a private network transport (PNT) service, which is managed by AT&T, provides a flexible backbone to accommodate growth in Towne’s communications needs.
