The PTO option can be installed at the dealer, the company said, before being upfitted with products such as air compressors, generators and hydraulic pumps.

A subsidiary of International Truck and Engine Corp., Workhorse also announced that its Custom Chassis walk-in truck has a new name, the MetroStar, linking it with the rest of International’s lineup, including the WorkStar, DuraStar, TransStar, ProStar, PayStar and CityStar brands.

The MetroStar is available on 86.5-in. and 93.5-in. wide bodies, has cargo lengths from 10 to 22 feet, and is built on the full range of Workhorse gas and diesel chassis options from 9,400 lb. GVWR to 23,500 lb. GVWR.
