Fleet Engineers taking orders for AeroSaver side skirt

April 29, 2013

Fleet Engineers is now taking orders for its AeroSaver side skirt, which has entered production.

The company said the skirt will reduce fuel consumption by up to 7% and can be installed by just one person. Shipped in three equal length sections, the AeroSaver can be installed on a trailer at an angle or straight with no additional hardware needed.

It also uses recycled materials.

The AeroSaver has an engineered bracket system to allow for easy installation. It   meets the CARB standalone trailer aerodynamic requirements for the GHG/Smartway rule.

Each panel is UV impregnated to resist fading and cracking, is made out of extruded flexible plastic designed to bend over obstacles, and can be replaced independently if damage does occur.
