Atlanta city fleet chooses Networkfleet solution

April 20, 2012

The city of Atlanta’s Dept. of Watershed Management (DWM) has chosen Networkfleet’s GPS fleet tracking system to help improve driver productivity, reduce operating costs, and enhance safety and security.

DWM will install the solution on 529 fleet vehicles, ranging from customer service operations to heavy-duty maintenance trucks. With the software, DWM will be able to monitor vehicle usage and accountability; measuring mpg and idle time; improving security and customer service; provide historical data and route optimization; and achieve improvements in overall asset management.

“We chose Networkfleet over others because it is a GSA provider that completely satisfied the requirements of our business needs,” said Janet Ward, director of communications, Dept. of Watershed Management. “We also received excellent feedback from other Networkfleet government customers, who assured us that the system would help us effectively manage our fleet.”
