Pete Allen has been named CEO of fleet management solutions company Cadec Global. Allen was previously senior vice president-global sales at telematics company inthinc.
“Cadec has remained a constant technology innovator in this space for 35 years,” Allen noted. “Everyone in the industry – myself included – watched as Cadec delivered PowerVue Enterprise, which sets the stage for the next generation of fleet management. It’s a very exciting time for the company, and I’m thrilled to be back and playing a part in its future success.”
Allen was a sales manager with Cadec previously. He also worked in senior executive roles at GreenRoad Technologies.
Jon Bernstein, previously CEO & chairman of Cadec, becomes executive chairman and will remain active in managing the company, which was acquired by BlackBern Partners in 2011.
“Over the past year, we have transformed Cadec’s business in nearly all areas, and put the company on a course for continued growth and success,” said Bernstein. “What drew BlackBern to Cadec initially were its outstanding core technology architecture and loyal customer base. We’ve since built a strong business around that core architecture by completing and delivering much-anticipated new features, rebuilding the user interface and developing a new hardware roadmap leveraging the latest technologies. We also overhauled customer support in order to provide better and faster service to our valued customers.”
