Decisiv, Procede Software partner to improve service management

July 1, 2013

Service relationship management (SRM) provider Decisiv has partnered with Procede Software on an integrated solution for commercial vehicle operations. The integrated solution is designed to improve revenue and margins, reduce days out of service (DOS), drive customer retention, improve communication and achieve faster issue resolution, Decisiv said.

“The integration between Decisiv and Procede creates significant value for fleets and service providers,” said Dick Hyatt, president of Decisiv. “Our mutual fleet customers will benefit by always having up to date service event status information and clearly documented and approved estimates that match invoices, resulting in fewer days out of service. The Decisiv-Procede integration will also make service providers more competitive, and improve margins and customer retention.”

According to Decisiv, users of the company’s Service Relationship Management platform, which automates check-in, inspections, estimates and approvals, combined with the certified integration of Procede Software’s Excede DMS gives the service provider a seamless “one-click” update environment, without requiring any additional data entry.

With the integrated solution, all service related information is available for an assigned technician to perform the necessary work. The Decisiv platform can also check Procede’s Excede DMS for parts pricing and availability, and retrieve customer specific contracted rates for labor and parts, all in real-time.

Leveraging the Decisiv-Procede integration, customer approvals and changes to estimates and work orders are updated in both systems simultaneously, with all communication and documentation managed in the context of the specific service or repair event, Decisiv said. With the approved estimate in sync with the customer invoice in the Excede DMS, repair surprises are eliminated and faster invoice payments for service providers are facilitated.

“Our mutual customers are benefitting from this partnership. The impact has been immediate; they are saving precious time and significantly improving data integrity,” Larry Kettler, Procede Software CEO. “One of the goals of our Partner Program is to leverage the flexibility and power of Excede DMS’ Microsoft SQL database architecture to drive real efficiencies across our customers' ecosystems. This certified, seamless integration achieves that goal.”
