EFS launches real-time interface with TMWSuite

Sept. 16, 2013

Electronic Funds Source (EFS), announced the launch of its new real-time interactive interface with the TMWSuite transportation management software solution from TMW Systems.

EFS customers using TMWSuite now have access to real-time integration through the new interactive interface, eliminating the need for carriers to work in both EFS and TMW applications independently, EFS said. The interface offers a centralized and more efficient approach to managing their payments and their fleet.

Among the features of the integration is real-time card and policy management for greater efficiency and visibility when managing cardholders and their fuel and cash purchases. Security, accuracy and flexibility are also enhanced through real-time transactions, product purchasing limits, card level limits and location blocking, as well as product and location limits and overrides.

Carriers can issue cash advances and EFS MoneyCodes within TMWSuite and now have the ability to control most aspects of their EFS card management, maintenance and reporting from their TMW software. Carriers’ real-time dispatch data and information are also integrated directly into the EFS system for additional efficiencies and controls, along with enhanced security measures such as fraud prevention and monitoring.

“These powerful new interfaces are a direct result of customer feedback and our close partnership with TMW,” said Scott R. Phillips, president and CEO of Electronic Funds Source. “We’re excited about the efficiencies and comprehensive payments visibility this new technology is bringing to our customers and we will continue to focus on new and innovative ways to make payments ‘smarter’ for our customers and our industry.”

“Strategic partnerships with companies like EFS truly expand the scope of benefits available for our joint customers. The new integration between our TMWSuite product and EFS card management services adds another robust fuel card option to the growing lineup that we already have with EFS,” said David Wangler, president of TMW Systems.
