Isuzu taps Telogis

Oct. 24, 2014

Telematics provider Telogis will begin providing a range of factory-built-in connectivity technology for Isuzu Commercial Truck of America to help Isuzu owners tap into a wide stream of vehicle data to drive costs savings.

“We chose Telogis because of their focus on innovation and experience with built-in OEM location intelligence solutions, with a mutual goal of providing Isuzu customers with the very best ownership experience in the medium-duty truck market,” said Shaun Skinner, Isuzu’s executive VP and GM, during the OEM’s dealer meeting Albuquerque, NM, to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary in the U.S.

Susan Heystee, executive VP-worldwide sales for Telogis, added that the “next-generation” telematics technology her company is installing for Isuzu provides a level of built-in connectivity and intelligence that can only be achieved through close collaboration with truck manufacturers.

She added that Telogis’ platform provides telematics, route optimization, commercial navigation, work order management and mobile integration services for their mobile workforces, helping “deliver significant cost savings and operational efficiencies” in her words for Isuzu customers.
