XRS to offer Drivewyze bypass system

March 21, 2013

LOUISVILLE, KY. XRS Corp. has entered into a co-marketing agreement with Drivewyze to offer the PreClear weigh station bypass service to XRS customers. Customers will be offered an “exclusive discount,” XRS said.

The announcement was made yesterday at the Mid-America Trucking Show.

Drivewyze PreClear weigh station and inspection site bypass opportunities at both fixed weigh stations and roadside mobile inspection sites. It meets federal and state distracted driving law and provides data protection.

The system adds transponder-like functionality to tablets, smartphones and select electronic logging devices (ELDs), and connects to the Drivewyze service network via a single account regardless of where a driver travels.

“Both XRS and Drivewyze provide customers with time-saving and cost-effective solutions,” said Rob Pallante, director of business development at XRS. “With Drivewyze, we believe our customers will see an immediate cost-savings and better overall time management - something XRS is also well known for. We are pleased that Drivewyze has agreed to provide our valued customers with an exclusive discount.”

Drivewyze is operational at more than 200 sites in 15 states.
