Tom Heine, CEO of Aljex Software, has announced that Ken Pehanick has joined the company as vp of logistics technology. Heine called Pehanick “a supply chain executive, expert, and frequent speaker with over 25 years of experience.”

Most recently, Pehanick served as executive vp, technology, for the TransVantage Group of Memphis, TN, providers of transportation management systems and freight payment auditing as well as third party logistics services. Pehanick came to TransVantage when that company purchased Integrated Global Logistics, LLC, a third-party supply chain software and consulting company Pehanick led as president.

“We’re very pleased to have Ken with us,” Heine noted. “His expertise and talents will benefit all of our customers. Ken will sharpen Aljex’s focus on the real-world needs of transportation providers with a strategic eye toward the total supply chain on one hand and profit for our clients on the other.”

Earlier in his career, Pehanick worked with freight auditing company CTSI, Chase Manhattan Bank, and CTI Logistics. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.

“I’m very pleased to be working with a growing, customer-oriented company like Aljex,” Pehanick said. “I look forward to using my experience to help our clients streamline the supply chain and develop profitable strategies that will make good things happen.”
